Who we are
On Q Chorus was formed in August 2009 by a group of women who shared a love of singing and were introduced to barbershop at Youth Harmony Camp. Their goal was to create a sisterhood where women could come together in a fun and harmonious environment. Since then, On Q has organized or guest performed at many shows throughout the city and regionally.

On Q has also performed and competed on national stages. We received a silver rating at the 2012 World Choir Games in Cincinnati, then became the first women's chorus to perform at the BHS Rocky Mountain District Convention in the Fall of 2013. Since 2014, we have been chartered with Harmony, Inc. - an international organization of women barbershop singers similar to Sweet Adelines. We placed 6th in Harmony, Inc.'s 2014 International Convention & Competition.
The support of our partners in the Albuquerque Barbershop Community Collaborative is a huge part of what has made On Q possible and successful. We are very thankful for it, and we are proud to spread the joy of music throughout the Land of Enchantment.
